Converting UNIT RATIOS part 2

Good Evening to all,
We are in for a second round of converting units- that is where you cross cancel the units first to change them and then simplify the ratio.  For instance, you can go from MILES per HOUR to FEET per HOUR.  This is a tricky lesson, but I think that today will be FAR easier than yesterday.  And now that all of you have the flash player installed, we can move onward to the team classwork:

MORE TIME:  Skills Practice 1.3: even#'s
Problem Solving 1.3: even #'s

Just Right: Homework Practice 1.3 : even #;s
Problem Solving 1.3 even #'s

Challenge: Homeworm Practice 1.3 : every 3rd #
Problem Solving 1.3 even #'s
HOTS 1.3

All of this work is to be done in your notebooks-:
HEADING - date and assignment as above then comment when done.

Write down the problem
Show all steps
Work on down
BOX in answer
Check the answer- if correct, go on to the next problem.
If incorrect, go back and find mistake
and correct it before moving onward.

When done with this assignment,
make a brief comment on top of page.

Hint: when stuck on a problem: Look back at the examples in the book lesson, watch the videos again, ask your team mates, and if all of these fail, go to the teacher!

Work hard and if necessary, finish these worksheets as homework.
These beauties are Estelle's fur babies.  Just darling!

As always in MATH,
Mrs M
