Good Evening Girls and Boys!
Mr Garbe is doing the videos today so you are in for a treat!
This section is on Graphing Proportions so there are lots of VOCABULARY Terms to define.
Please make these creative, your own words,
and show a real life example of each.
Onto the lesson: Most if not all are familiar with graphing on a Quadrant Plane. I always remember it by the prefix- quad- meaning 4. So in a Quadrant Plane there are 4 sections called Quadrants to plot your Ordered Pair on! An Ordered Pair is a pair of numbers inside a ( x,y ). The first number is always the x coordinate and the second one is the y coordinate to get one point! You will be graphing straight lines. This is certainly a mouthful but after watching the videos, it should clear this up.
This little beauty is Rachel's pup! How adorable! Homework: Read the blog, watch the videos on Graphing Proportions and take notes in your Graphic Organizer!
