Chapter 5.4 DISTRIBUTIVE PROPERTY in the standard of Expressions and Equations

Good Evening girls and boys.

Here are the videos for chapter 5.4. It is about the Distributive Property, it is probably one of the most important concept in algebra, and very useful. You will be using it a lot, so let's work together on mastering this concept.

The Distributive Property deals with a number that

 multiple a sum or a product.

 I think of Distributive Property as "Double Multiply"-This is your first secret word.

 In this lesson we will be using the Distributive Property to rewrite expressions ( remember the standard: Expressions and Equations.)

Our vocabulary term for this lesson is Distributive Property and the second secret word for this lesson is "Distribution."

Remember to take notes in your graphic organizer, and write down all the questions that come up. Bring them to class 

so we can go over them.

 Algebra is my favorite subject.
