Yay, now we are into really higher Mathematics. And you are all welcome to join in on all this fun.
Everything you learned about expressions is fairly much a foundation for the big EQUATIONS.
You will be Combining Like Terms and simplifying BUT now you will be solving for the UNKNOWN- that is the variable.
Equations are a balancing act - One side MUST equal the other.
The vocabulary terms for these section are: Equation, Solution, and 2 Properties ( Laws of Math)
So hang on to your seats for a ride into Equations.
You must right down what Equations are on the front of your Chapter 6 Graphic Organizer.
