Good Evening to you all,
We are moving on with the most practical lesson of all - Sales Tax, Tips and Markups. We use these almost in every day. The vocabulary for this section is : sales tax, tip, gratuity, markup, and selling price. We are so used to going to the store and seeing prices marked on items and knowing that is NOT the price we actually pay at the register. We need to add a sales tax to most items in the store. Or another example when we are in a restaurant, we see the prices of the food items and then we add a tip to the wait person. We are very familiar with these, that is it almost done with a thought. Well, this lesson is how to calculate these additional charges. So watch the videos, and take notes in your graphic organizer and complete your vocabulary for this lesson.
