Good Evening to all,
And on this fine wintery day, we will be working away on Percent of Change! I bet this is a thrill for all of you! Well, it is a very useful concept and the good news is that it is fairly easy to do, especially if you use your Graphic Organizers to help you. So When we are talking about CHANGE- we are taking about something that goes up or down. If that change goes up- we use Percent of Increase- to figure out the amount. And if it goes down, we use the Percent of Decrease! And when we estimate, we use the Percent of Error! Sounds a bit confusing, but watch the videos and take notes in your graphic organizer.
You MUST write in the 4 formulas for PERCENT OF CHANGE IN YOUR GRAPHIC ORGANIZERS- these are your vocabulary words for the lesson!
